On December 8, 2004, President George W. Bush signed a bill which designates every September 17th as Constitution Day (Public Law 108-447). Gustavus will observe Constitution Day with a variety of activities and resources to promote the study of the constitution. The library and the Dean of Students Office have a Constitution Day display near the entrance of library, with free pocket-size copies of the U.S. Constitution available.
