This fall, we are displaying Government Document recommendations from the fictional government employees of the television show Parks and Recreation.
As we put the display together, we noticed that there really was something that matched each character’s interests. Government Documents is known mostly for legislation-related materials, but in our search for the perfect item to represent each character, we found items related to children’s health, medical ethics, public service, the history of women in Congress, and even a guide to wood types (which of course had to be a match for the gruff woodworker Ron Swanson).
This display is located on the first floor next to the Government Documents office.
