Did you know? The 26th Amendment lowered the voting age from 21 to 18 in 1971. Learn more from the National Museum of American History.

Did you know? The year 2020 is the 55th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. It outlawed discriminatory voting practices aimed at denying African Americans from exercising the right to vote. View this pictorial overview for a brief history of the Voting Rights Act up to the present day.

Did you know? The year 2020 is the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which extended the right to vote to women.
