We visited the 13th annual Twin Cities Zine Fest earlier this fall and acquired new zines for our collection. Check them out! (Literally. You can check them out.)
This collection, which lives on shelves just outside the Hasselquist Room on the main floor, is geared toward expressive work that is hand-made and photocopied, representing an alternative to traditional or web publishing, with particular emphasis on local artists/writers, memoir (perzines), art and literature, gender and diversity, and contemporary protest movements.
