Gustavus Student Book Launch!

Research always leads us deeper into exploring the many conversations on any given topic. First year students in Professor Kate Knutson’s First Term Seminar course, Fast Food and Society, took the extra step by contributing new literature to the conversations happening on fast food culture. The book, In the Shadow of the Golden Arches, contains essays written by students in the course about the various ways fast food impacts our society. The Library is thrilled to be the venue for the book release party on Monday, December 14 from 10:30-11:20 am in the Gustavus Library Associates Reading Room (main level). Cocoa and donuts will be served; students will present materials from the book. Please join us!
