The library has recently gotten access to several new primary source collections from the Gale “Archives Unbound” database, covering a broad swath of history.  These databases grant access to collections looking at such topics as the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), the American Indian Movement of the 1970s, FBI surveillance of African Americans from 1920-1984, Newspapers from Japanese-American Relocation Camps, the LGBT movement, and the worldwide movement for the abolition of slavery.  With millions of images and documents, these collections have a wealth of valuable information for people looking at these topics.  To find these resources, go to http://libguides.gustavus.edu/newresources. The collections of Archives Unbound are fully searchable, making it easy to look for resources on your particular topic.  Likewise if you’re simply curious about what they have, the archives have an option to see all the documents they contain, letting you scroll through all the headings and see if anything jumps out.  In any case, these collections are massive, so take a look and see if there’s anything of interest!
