Our student run library group, Faces of Folke, held a Library Card Catalog Art Contest recently. The entries are now being displayed on top of our new book shelf in the library.
Catalog cards are what the library used before computers to keep track of materials. We thought it would be fun to put some of our old cards out for students to turn into works of art. The main medium used was pen, some of the students worked the book title into their creation.
