Mental Health Matters

Youth Mental Health sign We noticed some signs posted on campus today. We’re not sure who put them up or whether they are connected to a particular event or course, but we agree that mental health matters, that youth face increasing challenges for their mental health, and that access to health care is important for all.

We put together a guide a while ago for the annual Building Bridges conference which, this year, focused on mental health and civil rights. If you have suggestions for more resources or books that you particularly recommend, let us know.

Remember, if you’re feeling particularly stressed during this crunch time of the semester, the Counseling Center is there for you, and if you prefer to get some advice online, there’s a site for that. (The access code is available at the Counseling Center site.)
